Did a small favour for a neighbour/friend not much to speak of.  A much cooler day so having a day off and chilling. More footy for  Dave and I. Have a nice day guys. 😁

I’ve had a slack time while you’ve been away just the usual garden maintenance and the shopping, filled the car petrol tank just before the first shot was fired, stroke of luck there as the price has shot up since.
Collected my replaced hearing aids on Tuesday so now back amongst the living.😁
Been out today with daughter and granddaughter to one of those DFO places, Direct Factory Outlet for a belated Christmas present, items discounted and a further 40% off so not a bad day at all. Had a feed and another lap then home just in time for the footy.

A warm un again so I’m staying indoors with the a/c and a book, I’ll sweep the leaves up on a cooler day as it’s staying warm for a few days.
Still haven’t got my replacement hearing aids , bugger!
Might learn sign language in the interim.

Yes Puff the new one matches the other recently replaced ones. After much discussion with the sales guy we sorted the the right material and colour to match, just the two end ones a bit faded in comparison but that’s ok.
A warm 36c today so shopping done early after the plants got watered and now just chilling with a book.

I think you’ve hit the nail on the head Dave, (excuse the pun) small hardware shops virtually non existent nowadays. Had one close to my previous address but closed about twenty years ago and more recently one close to my present address closed last year, two brothers ran it but decided to retire as Bunnings opened their biggest store in WA not too far away so can’t really blame them.
An ice cream van travels around our village every Monday no matter what the weather is like playing Greensleeves, stopped him one day asked him to fill a small bowl, said it would cost $12 so I settled for a regular cone at $5, still not what I expected so never asked again. 🙄
