I found cutting out dairy helped my sinusitis, Dave, and yes, fresh air & exercise!

Yesterday I went hashing, it was a memorial hash for one of our members that had recently passed, and a great day it was, he would’ve been proud, got home late afternoon and opened a nice bottle of wine whilst I chilled out, and what a sleep I had last night
Today just domestic stuff, washing,  cleaning & sorting, collected some water from the fuente, did the lottery, and I won, €2 woo hoo, better than nothing, had a coffee on the way back then chilled out.

Take care fellas
Puff

Yeah, sinusitis is a bugger.
I really don’t have mjuch maintenance any more, so I have to keep busy doing other stuff!

Been to Tai Chi this morning, then coffee & a chat, back home I did some tidying up, sorting out, changing things round a bit & general faffing about, then put it all ack as it was…… Yes I know, we’ve all been there! Had a siesta, now chilling.

Take care fellas

Did some washing, collected some water and had a mooch around the market, went for a dose of acupuncture, bit of a walk, did some top up shopping then back home for lunch and a chill.

Take care fellas

Went out for a coffee first thing, then to collect my new glasses, can see where I’m going now ;D  had a walk along the promenade at my local resort, came home, lunch, read on the balcony for a bit then chill time.

Take care fellas

Hi guys, Been to sort out my hearing aids, but more importantly the app for them.
Booked my car park for when I go to visit my family, which I’d forgotten to do ::)
Verified a booking to a visit to a local resort, for when a gang of idiot hashers come over from Cambridge.
Received a call to collect my new glasses.
Made an appointment for a massage.
Went for a walk up the rambla, now chilling.
Might sound a lot, but it wasn’t, just a nice positive day

Take care fellas

Good on ya, Vince, for helping out your neighbour  :)

I got my proof of life thing signed then went for a coffee, back at the flat decided to sort out the spare bedroom, more like a store room since moving in, all the stuff that I brought and I found I didn’t really need after all, so some went to the charity shop, some in the bin, and some pretty grotty stuff left at the side of the bin, knowing someone would have it away within the hour…….. yep!
Pleased with myself, I went for a wee walk before lunch, followed by chilling.

Take care fellas

Cheers, Vince, yeah, always some catching up to do, but taking my time about it, mañana 8)

Don’t over do it on the ‘major jobs’, Dave :D
We have the same thing here changing outfits, but opposite of course, in Spain the stores, generally, don’t stock any summer wear until after the equinox, hard liners won’t change their traditions!

Nothing much happened yesterday, washing, cleaning, bit of a walk, and reading on my balcony, while there was some sunshine, boring eh!
I took my ‘proof of life form to the town hall this morning, to be signed & witnessed, but the lady there gave me another document saying “that will do, if attached to the original form”, but it wasn’t signed by me, nor witnessed by anyone, I think maybe it was just for Spanish people? So I tried my bank instead, the lady there recognised the form and asked me to come back tomorrow, they only do admin stuff on Tuesdays & Thursdays, fair enough.
From there, I again, discovered that the computer in the lottery shop doesn’t like me!
Next I went to the car wash, washing a car at home is forbidden, a wastage of water thing, the car wash recycles it. This was the first time in almost a year, no one to nag me now! But I have to say, the difference is astounding, looks almost new, except for the normal, ‘Spanish dinks & kisses’ of course, won’t leave it so long next time.
Had my usual coffee & chats, then back home for lunch and to chill

Take care fellas

“What purpose do they serve”? I once had a book, Dave, called ‘Does anything eat wasps’, it explained a lot about the purpose of many things that are all around us, very interesting.
Enjoy your sport  :)

Tai Chi this morning followed by ‘top up’ shopping, collected some sun glasses I’d ordered from my friendly neighbourhood optician, filled my car up with petrol (a lot more expensive due to the war in Iran), bought a bottle of gas, (same price as last time, for now), collected some water from the fuente (free), then come home, filled in my ‘proof of life’ form for the government pension people, then finished up with lunch. Sounds a lot, but wasn’t really 8) then chilled

Take care fellas

Hi guys, so yes, a great holiday, hotel was fantastic in every way, weather OK tee shirt & shorts through the day, longs & jumper later on.
One day I went looking for a restaurant we’d found over 30 years ago, reputed to do the best garlic chicken on Tenerife, if not the world, and I wouldn’t disagree, after a long, meandering, steep climb from the bus station, my legs & feet were shouting grief at me, but I eventually found it……… it was closed for the day ::)
I had a couple of nice afternoons with a lady, no not like that! You know how Facebook knows everything about you, well since I’ve been on my own and looking for holidays, I’ve had lots of suggestions for ‘solo travellers’ sites, you post where and when you’re going, and people can reply that they’ll be there too, so that was it, two people alone but not lonely :)
I also went out to find a couple of geocaches, at one of them I saw a chap wandering about with his phone, another geocacher looking for the same goal, yes we found it and had a good chat exchanging experiences.
The only bad thing that happened was my phone crashed, so a new phone, everything swapped over and sorted, bit frustrating at the time, but shít happens, eh

Take care fellas

Hi guys, I had some computer problems whilst on holiday, mainly I thought, just Facebook, but according to what I’m seeing here, nothing has happened since I left, 4th March, is it my set up or has something drastic happened?

Cheers, Dave, got plenty lined up to do over there, not slowing down either, just nice steady away 8)

Or how about semaphore, Vince, now that’s a lost art if ever there was one, eh.

Well I’m all packed and ready to go, early tomorrow morning, I’m just taking a rucksack to beat outrageous cost of a small case, I can’t fit my computer in it so I’ll be incommunicado for a week, so just behave yourselves in my absence :D

Take care fellas
